A while ago I wrote about the top thirty things I want to do before I turn 30. Laura wrote a life crisis bucketlist as well. And I got to thinking the other day: since life is constantly moving forward, shouldn’t our lists move forward as well? As in, shouldn’t this list be evolving with me? And so I resolved to create an ever-changing 30-by-30 list. To be updated here. As in: this ever evolving list will have at least ten things added to it yearly. Which really just means ten things should be also crossed off yearly. We’ll see if that one happens…
1. Learn to snowboard.
2. Swim with sharks.
3. Play Rachmaninov’s concerto #2 with no mistakes.
4. Participate in “the stomping of the grapes”.
6. Learn to bake a really fabulous chocolate cake. From scratch.
7. Go for a ride in an F-16.
8. Jump off of a waterfall.
9. Run a half marathon.
10. Take another whirlwind shopping trip through NYC.
11. Go bungee jumping.
12. Buy Minnesota Wild tickets for a road trip series and travel to all the cities.
13. Have authentic Italian gelato. Like, in Italy.
14. Take a ride on the trans-siberian railway.
15. Learn how to shoot a gun.
16. Go to the Olympics (as a fan, silly!).
17. Run a company.
18. Tour the White House.
19. Buy a house.
20. Figure out all the bells and whistles on photo shop.
21. Learn how to really play some hockey.
23. Become (conversationally) fluent in French.
24. Learn HTML.
25. Get a knack for re-upholstry.
26. Write a book.
27. Go skydiving.
28. Running of the bulls. Pamplona.
29. Eat an entire package of Tim-Tams in one sitting.
30. Go biking in Ireland.
31. Swim in Grecian waters.
32. Go stormchasing.
33. Own a dog. As in my own (very large) guard dog.
34. Sip Sangria in Spain.
35. Snowboard down a mountain.
36. Play a team sport.
37. Meet Sasha Pavlovic.
38. Learn to make soup.
39. Go on a book tour (for said book to be written).
40. Become a bananagrams master.
41. Learn to sail.
