Sadly, the Canada team beat the US team yesterday in the final Olympic hockey game of 2010. Waiting for me in my inbox was this lovely video from Nick Vivion, and I have to admit, it’s pretty funny. Especially the part about LuLuLemon. Because Canada boy in the video is right – have you ever seen an ass in a pair of those pants? HOT (What he doesn’t know is that we have LuLuLemon, too – there’s a showroom in Edina and it’s fab!).
Reasons why this US hockey fan is ok with a silver medal:
1. Canadian hockey hotties run amok on the Minnesota Wild roster and in the league in general, can’t begrudge them a good Olympics team.
2. It was a good game. Plus, they won in overtime. Which isn’t a total stomping now, is it? 
3. I love Ryan Getzlaf. Can he please come play for the Wild now?
4. Silver means the US still beat out every other team at the Olympic games. Which is pretty fantastical, if you ask me.
5. Canada may have free healthcare, but we have better style. Case in point: video above. Oh, and we don’t say “eh” every five words.
