♥ He was born on February 19th, 1985. Meaning he turns 25 in less than a month. We’re both aquariuses – meant to be.
♥ He was drafted in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild 79th overall. And has been playing for the Houston Aeros ever since.
♥ He was originally brought up from the AHL this season to help cover for the multitude of Minnesota injuries this season. And then got injured. Groin injury. In Minnesota. Go figure.
♥ According the the bloggers, he has a good chance of heading back to the minors, but has potential for a longer-than-average NHL career if he can get his game together. Yeah, kind of true, methinks. He’s a solid d-man, not a solid scorer, and already has been out for a lengthy time for this injury. Maybe I’m a baby after Gabby’s constantly injured status, but that doesn’t bode well for his future on the team.
♥ He shares a name with my bff cousin. Which means he must be awesome.
